What is cellulite?
Cellulite is deposits of fat and other material trapped in pockets of connective tissue beneath the skin. It causes progressive dimpling, also called “orange peel” or “cottage cheese” appearance of the skin. About 90 % of women are affected by it, after they reach puberty.
Why are women prone to developing cellulite?
Women’s skin is built differently than men’s to help them to store fat during pregnancy and breast feeding and also to allow the skin to expand during these times. When estrogen levels fluctuate in the body, the skin will retain fluid, connective tissue in the skin hardens, blood, and lymphatic circulation is decreased, and fat cell storage is favored, causing the development of cellulite.
Who performs the treatment?
All treatments are performed by a qualified Endermologie Therapist. All Endermologie Therapists are trained and certified by LPG Systems.
How long does a session last? Do you just work on my problem areas?
A session lasts for 35 minutes. The main focus of the treatment is directed to the problem areas, but the entire body must be treated in order to stimulate general circulation and elimination of broken up toxic matters.
How many sessions do I need to start seeing results?
Results vary for every person, however an average person starts to notice the changes after about 6-8 sessions.
How many treatments should I consider as a starting point?
A series of 20 sessions would be a good start to achieve results. The first 6 treatments are suggested within a 2 week time period, than the rest of the treatments should be received twice a week until desired look is achieved. After the desired look is achieved, a once a month maintenance is sufficient for most individuals.
How long should I continue my treatments?
We suggest that you approach cellulite treatment as a lifestyle change. Just as we go to have our hair cut on an ongoing basis, we need our cellulite treated regularly as well. If we don’t address the problem in such manner, cellulite will come back.
Does the procedure hurt?
Rest assured that you are in the best possible hands. With your highly trained therapist, and the machine’s capability of changing intensity, you won’t need to be in pain. It is a non-invasive, relaxing treatment that involves no medical procedures or use of any chemical substances, creams or gels.
I don’t have time to exercise or for Lipomassage treatment – Isn’t dieting enough?
Dieting alone has some big drawbacks- If you eat less, you will lose weight where it’s easiest to lose: the face, breasts and upper body (for most gynoid or “pear –shaped” women). However, along with it, your wrinkles may become accentuated due to the loss of fat, and your chest may lose definition, your breasts may slacken and droop with extensive calorie and protein restriction, your body will call upon the muscles for energy, which will cause a loss of muscle tone. Then, if you abruptly resume eating a large amount of calories without exercising, you will replace the lost muscle with fat. If, like many women, your problem areas are limited to your lower body, eating well – balanced meals and having an active lifestyle together with receiving Lipomassage treatments will enable you to precisely target and treat problem areas. As you smooth and sculpt your figure, you’ll keep your womanly curves – including your youthful face, breasts and buttocks – intact.
Can everyone receive the treatment?
No. It is not for pregnant women, or people taking blood thinners, people with circulatory or vascular disease, active cancer, and also with infectious progressive diseases, and AIDS. Should you have any other concerns, we recommend that you consult your physician.
Does the treatment have any side effects?
The only negative side effect possible is minor bruising for individuals with very sensitive skin. However there are numerous positive side effects, such as relieving muscle soreness, fading of stretch marks and scar tissue, feeling rejuvenated, and relaxed.

Does this treatment also work on men?
